Barnstable Youth Hockey U15 ½ season Tryouts have been postponed.
Given the recent and evolving circumstances related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we wanted to reach out to all of our families including potential new families to keep everyone informed of our process. Our top priority is the safety of our players, coaches, administrators and families. While we were looking forward to assessing players for our inaugural U15 ½ season team this Tuesday March 17th, we do not feel that holding tryouts at this time is in the best interest of our players, families or the community as a whole.
We will reschedule these tryouts at a later date when the circumstances around this situation allow for a safe environment for everyone involved. We understand that there are many unanswered questions at this time and we will continue to communicate updates as they develop. We look forward to seeing you at the rink in the near future and thank you for your patience with this process.
If you have any specific questions please feel free to contact our coaching staff. Additionally, please see the attached statement (below) from MA hockey released today recommending postponement of all youth hockey activities.
